About Digby

Digby is endlessly curious and adventurous, forever peering intently out of windows and exploring every corner of his foster home. His favourite pastime? Playing with his ribbon wand, of course!
He's also obsessed with shiny things, and has been caught numerous times trying to steal his foster human's necklaces. She now keeps them in a drawer but he's doing his best to crack the security!
A massive purring machine, darling Digby never turns down a good scratch, and he’ll happily purr through anything – whether it’s eating, playing or cuddling. Speaking of cuddling - he’s the ultimate attention seeker!
Like all Maggie's pets, Digby is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... would be with another cat! I love my sister, Dora, so much, and the resident cat in my foster home is pretty cool too.
When it comes to my perfect humans, hopefully you'll be able to match my energy at playtime, but also not mind me divebombing your feet when you're trying to sleep!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Overall I'd say 8/10. I'm definitely on the active side - always up for a play after eating and in the mornings!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm still getting used to trusting calm adults, so small children under the age of 10 would likely be a bit too rowdy for me.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are great! I'm very respectful of their space and territory. The big cat I live with now is EXTREMELY interesting, and I'm trying my best to win her over!

I've never interacted with dogs, but I have a feeling they might not be my cup of tea. Of course, it's all about compatibility, and one with the right personality could be just fine!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
