About Digby and Dora
*In foster care in Brighton-Le-Sands, Sydney*
Meet Digby (ginger) and Dora (smoke tabby) – a pawesome pair of playful kittens who'd love to join a home with heaps of great toys and maybe even another cat in residence!
Digby is endlessly curious and adventurous, forever peering intently out of windows and exploring every corner of his foster home. His favourite pastime? Playing with his ribbon wand, of course!
He's also a purring machine, content with a good scratch, and he’ll happily purr through anything – whether it’s eating, playing or cuddling. Speaking of cuddling - he’s the ultimate attention seeker! If he feels like Dora is getting too much love, he’ll gently place his paw on your hand as if to say, 'Excuse me, this kitto requires more pats.' It’s not subtle, but it’s certainly effective!
Dora, the ever-watchful sister, takes her cues from Digby. She gains confidence by observing her brother and, once she sees him dive into an activity, she’s eager to join in and share the fun! She's also a bit of a magician, somehow managing to slip out of her cone after her desexing - three nights in a row! We’re starting to think she’s practicing some stealthy escape artistry.
Like all Maggie's pets, Digby and Dora are microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

OUR IDEAL HOME: Having spent the first six weeks of our lives on the streets, we were initially quite overwhelmed by indoor life. (So quiet! So warm! So... safe!) But after just a few days and some irresistible chicken treats, we slowly began to come out of our shells and start trusting our surroundings. Our ideal home would be with a patient, understanding person or couple who'll give us all the time and space we need to settle in - and hopefully lots of treats to speed up the process!
OUR ENERGY LEVEL: 8/10 for Digby - he's the first to initiate play. 5/10 for Dora - she enjoys playing but tends to follow her brother's lead.
Don't be surprised to wake up and see all our toys have moved around the room during the night!
OUR SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because we're both still getting used to trusting calm adults, small children under the age of 10 would likely be a bit too rowdy for us.
OUR SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Cats are great! We're very respectful of their space and territory. The big cat we live with now is EXTREMELY interesting, and we're trying our best to win her over!
Though we've never interacted with dogs, we think they might not be our cup of tea. Of course, it's all about compatibility, and one with the right personality could be just fine!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
