About Red
Meet Red D250135! A sweet and loving girl looking for her forever home!
Red is a charming 1 year old, Kelpie x Retriever mix who is looking for a loving, patient home to call her own. She's a very sweet and affectionate girl who loves human interaction, especially pats and playtime with her toys.
Despite her bouncy energy, Red is quite timid and would do best in a home with high fencing to keep her safe and secure. She thrives in environments where she can receive consistent training and attention, as she is still working on some basic commands and building her confidence.
Red is great with other dogs and is very submissive, making her an ideal companion for another dog in the household. She may be okay with cats, though she was initially a little fearful of them, so slow introductions would be best.
While Red's bounciness is part of her joyful nature, she may not be suited to homes with small children as she can be a bit too much for young ones to handle. What she really needs is a patient, understanding home that will help her grow into the loving and well-adjusted dog she is meant to be.
If you’re looking for a sweet and playful companion to help you with some training and shower you with love, Red might be the perfect match for you! Please complete the online adoption questionnaire and include photos of your secure yard and fencing. Our shelter staff will be in touch if your application is successful to arrange a meet & greet!
