Hello there! I'm Ode, from Melody’s Musical Litter!

My five siblings and I were rescued by SCA Qld when we were teeny tiny kittens, along with our beautiful mum Melody! Mum was a stray, bitten by a paralysis tick, and heavily pregnant! Luckily the vet contacted SCA, who immediately put their hand up so that mum could receive life-saving treatment, and we were born 🥰 No one came forward to claim us… luckily SCA Qld made room so we could grow up safe and healthy!

I'm a super cuddly, happy-go-lucky, and friendly little dude! I love to have a cuddle on your lap and just be around you in general… I'll follow you around room to room just to be near you! I'm great with people, especially kids who treat me gently, and I'll come say hello to visitors too. As I'm a kitten, I love to have a play, but my favourite thing is hanging with you and exploring the house!

If you have kitties at home, no problem because I'm great with other cats! I'm untested with dogs but if you have a gentle canine at home, I'm sure with time and proper introductions I'll grow to love them too! 💗 So we can have the best possible start to our new life together, be sure to follow the resources in the email from SCA Qld to help properly introduce me to my new fur sibling/s.

I'm a chatty little man and will happily remind you when we're due for dinner time! 😉 I eat well, drink plenty of water, and am litter-trained. I'm a note-worthy, wonderful little cat that the bards can only dream of!

PLEASE NOTE THAT SCA DOES NOT CONDONE ROAMING CATS – when applying to adopt me, it is expected that I will be kept as an indoor only cat and/or in a suitable outdoor enclosure.

All applications will be assessed for suitability and compatibility. Approved adoptions will commence with a two week trial, after which time the adoption will be final and the microchip will be transferred to you.

Medical Notes:
My mum tested negative for FIV and FeLV and I have been an inside only kitty since birth. I should be kept inside or in an enclosure to keep me (and the wildlife!) safe and healthy.
