Oh hey there! I'm Lyric, from Melody’s Musical Litter!

My five siblings and I were rescued by SCA Qld when we were teeny tiny kittens, along with our beautiful mum Melody! Mum was a stray, bitten by a paralysis tick, and heavily pregnant! Luckily the vet contacted SCA, who immediately put their hand up so that mum could receive life-saving treatment, and we were born 🥰 No one came forward to claim us… luckily SCA Qld made room so we could grow up safe and healthy!

I'm very affectionate and honestly an absolute sweetheart! I love to snuggle up with you on the couch and give you gentle head boops, while I purr away and lap up all the pats and attention. I'm great with people, especially kids who treat me gently, and I'll even come say hello to the visitors! I also like to have a play, explore the house, and zoom around occasionally (I am still a kitten, after all!).

Other cats at home? Yay, more friends for me! I'm untested with dogs but if you have a friendly canine at home, I'm sure with time and proper introductions I'll grow to love them too! 💗 So we can have the best possible start to our new life together, be sure to follow the resources in the email from SCA Qld to help properly introduce me to my new fur sibling/s.

I'm a talkative little dude too, so I'll happily chirp away and have a chat with you… especially when we're due for dinner. 😉 I eat well, drink plenty of water, and am litter-trained. Bass-ically, I'm a great all-round kitty cat, that's for sure!

PLEASE NOTE THAT SCA DOES NOT CONDONE ROAMING CATS – when applying to adopt me, it is expected that I will be kept as an indoor only cat and/or in a suitable outdoor enclosure.

All applications will be assessed for suitability and compatibility. Approved adoptions will commence with a two week trial, after which time the adoption will be final and the microchip will be transferred to you.

Medical Notes:
My mum tested negative for FIV and FeLV and I have been an inside only kitty since birth. I should be kept inside or in an enclosure to keep me (and the wildlife!) safe and healthy.
