Hello everyone I'm a beautiful big red coloured boy, hence my nick name "Red" which I do not know yet.

I have recently come down from a rural NSW pound where I was starved and left for months, so I need to begin to build up my weight and my confidence.

I think I am a Dogue De Bordeaux cross and although I should be around 40kg, am only about 25kg. Regular feeds will soon have me looking stunning!

Some important notes: I still need to go to the vets as I need to be vaccinated, desexed and microchipped. The MPDR girls also believe I have some vision impairment. I can catch treats though!

I do resource guard my food from everyone as I was starved, so common sense must be shown when I eat and I must be fed seperately.

I am dog friendly though and would be better with a female dog. Maybe she can teach me how to play?
I have also seen and smelt a cat and showed no interest, so cats should be fine!

I am still entire and mark my territory EVERYWHERE!!! Even in my food and water bowls! I might miss a tiny spot! This may be habit, anxiety and testosterone and a vet visit will help.

I have been abused in my previous life and loud noisy families with loud children and households are too overwhelming for me.

What are my requirements?
1. I require a foster home that is quiet and relaxed.
2. Older teenagers are ok, but they must be relaxed
3. The family must be confident and experienced with mastiffs
4. It must be a calm, gentle family that is kind to me and not push me too fast experiencing new things.
5. I must have a nice big backyard to play
6. Must have 6 ft fences
7. If another dog is present, it must be a friendly desexed female
