About Remi
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Remi sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Sweet, gentle Remi is the definition of independent elegance. Often found lounging at the top of her cat tree with her favourite bear filled with catnip, she loves soaking up the sun in peaceful corners of the house. Remi’s delicate little meow is almost a whisper, but her purr can warm even the coldest of days. It’s her subtle, endearing way of showing love that makes her so special.
Though Remi is introverted and cautious, she’s fiercely loyal once she feels safe. She’ll follow you around the house, finding comfort just by being near, especially if it means hanging out with her favourite person. She loves a gentle cheek or chin scratch and might even share your dinner if you let her! Don’t be surprised to find her perched halfway up the stairs, curiously watching the world go by. She’s a quiet observer with a playful streak, often racing up and down the stairs or rubbing herself on the carpet of her cat tree.
Remi’s ideal home would be a calm, patient household where she can adjust at her own pace. Her independent nature makes her low-maintenance, but she’ll thrive with someone who understands her need for gentle affection and a predictable routine. Her heart is tender, and once you earn her trust, you’ll discover a loyal companion who loves being nearby, quietly enjoying your company.
Ready to meet this gentle soul? Remi is looking for a loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. And if you’re considering adding double the love, her best friend Dom is also waiting for his forever home. Together, they make the perfect pair, balancing each other out in the most heartwarming way. Why not meet them both and see if they’re the ideal match for you?

Medical notes
Remi was diagnosed with a grade 2/6 systolic heart murmur two years ago. She is showing no clinical signs and is in excellent health. Her patient history is available to view ahead of adoption.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
