About Jumanji
In the game of Jumanji, adventures unfold,
With a furry friend by your side, worth more than gold.
Meet Jumanji, the gentle giant with a heart so pure,
He's ready for a loving home—that’s for sure!
Jumanji, a 4-5 year old Bull Arab/Great Dane/Cattle Dog mix, is ready to be your next best friend. Jumanji was rescued from the pound in NSW and has been an absolute delight in foster care. Despite his large size, he's pure jelly inside, always ready for cuddles and love.
Jumanji is not a huge fan of treats, but if you give him praise and a pat, he'll do anything for you. He has 0% prey drive and lives with two cats, to which he is pretty indifferent. He loves the company of another dog and enjoys playing, though his play can be a bit rough, so an adult dog would be ideal to teach him what's okay.
He doesn't like loud noises and can be a bit unsure of new places when walking, but he takes confidence from you. Jumanji is quite strong on the lead at first but settles nicely, and he'll need a firm handler to continue his lead training. He loves going out in the car and is very relaxed during rides.
Jumanji can be left at home without being destructive, and he waits patiently for your return. He knows "sit" and is working on "drop" (he goes halfway down). He'll "wait" for his dinner and at the door before barging out. He's very chilled out at home but loves going for walks and adventures. He sleeps really well in his crate at night.
Though he hasn't been tested on kids, he is not likely to have any issues. However, due to his size, he may not be suitable for homes with very young children. Jumanji thrives on love, cuddles, pats, and praise and just wants to be near you all the time.
