About Yahtzee
In a foster home, Yahtzee waits so dear,
His heart full of love, and no fear.
A roll of the dice, for a forever home,
Adopt Yahtzee, and never be alone.
Yahtzee, a spirited one-year-old Jack Russell x Kelpie mix, is ready to be your next best friend. Standing proudly at knee height, Yahtzee is a lovely young boy with an active mind and boundless energy, characteristic of terriers and working dogs.
Yahtzee is a quick learner who loves to engage his brain. He will need someone with the time and patience to show him the ropes. While he picks up quickly on what is expected of him, he still needs gentle reminders to stay on track, as he is just a baby.
He sleeps soundly through the night, comfortably nestled in his crate beside his foster carer's bed.
His perfect home would be on acreage, where Yahtzee could live his best life with livestock to herd or cantering alongside you on trail rides with your horse. He simply lights up when he has a purpose—mental stimulation like this brings him so much joy!
Yahtzee needs an active family with experience in training working dogs, a family eager to provide him with the mental and physical stimulation he craves. His perfect home is one where he can continue to learn, play, and feel loved by someone understanding of his busy mind.
While Yahtzee is full of energy, he’s also full of love and affection, ready to share with a family who can match his enthusiastic spirit. He’s better with larger sized dogs as he is a rough player, and he’s good with cats and livestock. While he has a penchant for paper shredding, he is generally well-behaved and eager to learn.
Ready to roll the dice and invite Yahtzee into your life? Apply today to meet this energetic boy and embark on endless adventures together!
