Meet Little Drummer Boy! 🥁 This sweet 1-year-old Jack Russell is a bundle of affection and personality. He’s got the classic Jack Russell energy—curious, playful, and always ready for an adventure. But when it’s time to relax, he is happy to snuggle up with his people, often napping at his foster mum’s feet or on the couch.

He’s a confident boy who’s yet to meet anything that scares him! While we don’t know much about his past, he’s come a long way since arriving at his foster home with minimal training. Little Drummer Boy is desexed, making progress with toilet training, and has already learned how to sit.

He’s a very high-energy pup who thrives with lots of activity, enrichment, and mental stimulation. He’ll need a dedicated owner who is committed to continuing his training to help him reach his full potential.

He LOVES other dogs 🐕 and would be thrilled to have a playmate. However, he’d also be just as happy to be the center of your attention with plenty of exercise and enrichment. He tends to mark around the house, so a little patience is needed as he settles into a routine. He also pulls on the leash quite a bit, so some leash training will help him become more polite during walks.

He’s been sleeping in a crate near his foster mum, where he happily settles after a few minutes (especially with a treat). 💤

Although he hasn’t been tested with kids yet, his sweet nature suggests he would be a great fit. He may jump and shower them with kisses, so dog-savvy kids would be ideal! He hasn’t been tested with cats yet. 🐾
