Hi, I’m Battleship and I’m a BFG-D (Big Friendly Giant - Dog). I’m super friendly and love meeting people of all shapes and sizes, particularly those who will give me a pat. My head is conveniently located at hand height to nuzzle in for as many pats as are on offer. I’m a pretty chilled dude around the house provided I get a good walk and a game. I just love being with my people and am always by someone’s side. I’d prefer someone home most of the time but have been okay left for a couple hours with my foster sister.

I’m an excellent ball boy-dog when it comes to tennis, and I love swimming at the beach. I adore my foster sister and am very friendly with all dogs, though I can get a bit excited when on the lead around a new dog. I’d love it if you had a dog but would also relish all the love as the only dog. I’m smart and will do anything for a yummy treat, making me easy to train. I snooze a lot and sleep through the night in the laundry. Grooming is one of my favorite activities, and I especially enjoy being brushed on my fluffy Mohawk back.

I love watching my foster sister kitty by the window and like respectfully being near her. Kids are the best, but I do have such a happy tail it can whip, so it’s best if I’m not around really little kids. Take me for a ride anywhere—I love car rides! I have a special bond with my foster dad and also love tradies. While I have very good manners, I can’t resist ‘putting things away’ on the kitchen bench. I didn’t realize putting things away meant in the cupboard and not my tummy. My foster sister is also to blame and definitely helped me ‘put away’ a loaf of bread and a bag of corn chips.

One thing I don’t like is thunder. I have a huge heart and a beautiful soul and can’t wait to share this with my forever people.
