About Comet
Hey there, future family! This is Comet, a charming 5-year-old Staffy cross Kelpie who’s ready to find his forever home. 🐶✨
**Comet, Comet, zooming by,
A playful dog who'll catch your eye.
Loyal friend with a joyful heart,
Ready for his new life to start!**
Comet is an affectionate and well-mannered gentleman who is sure to steal your heart. With his love for fetch and impeccable self-control, he's always up for a game, yet polite enough not to steal food off tables or benches.
He follows commands, goes to his bed when asked, and waits patiently to eat when told. Comet loves to graze in the mornings but finishes his dinner all at once. He knows his name and usually comes when called, unless he's busy sniffing, which is one of his favorite things to do on his two daily walks.
Comet's curiosity and affection make him a wonderful companion. While he prefers a secure area when left alone—since he can clear 6-foot fences—he’s easy-going indoors and enjoys playing ball, bringing it back every time. Around daycare classes and cats at the vet, he's uninterested, focusing more on meeting new dog friends and people who often call him the most chilled Staffy they've ever met.
After a good walk, Comet loves to snooze and goes to bed around 8:30 PM, sleeping soundly through the night. He respects boundaries, happily snuggling on the couch if allowed but hopping down when told no.
Comet travels well in the car, eager to explore new places once you arrive. He quickly picks up new things and is great at the vet, letting them check him over without any fuss.
If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, Comet could be the perfect addition to your family! 🐾💞
