About Ollie
Meet Ollie (D240781)
Ollie is a very timid young boy who is looking for a patient, loving family to help him come out of his shell. At 8 months old, Ollie is still learning to trust people and his surroundings, which means he will need time, space, and gentle encouragement to feel comfortable. While Ollie is shy, he loves being patted and will happily sit in your lap once he feels safe. He’s also fond of food, though he is only mildly food motivated, which can help with training. Ollie is good with other dogs and cats, but he would do best in a quieter home with no small children, as he’s too timid for a bustling environment. He will require leash training and basic obedience training to help him feel more confident and comfortable during walks.
Ideal Home:
Ollie is looking for a calm, understanding household where he can take his time to build trust and confidence. He will need an experienced, patient owner who can provide consistent training, especially with leash walking, as he tends to shut down when on a lead. A home without small children would be ideal, as Ollie is still learning how to interact with his environment. His preference for peace and quiet means he would thrive in a calm and predictable setting with plenty of time for relaxation and bonding.
Key Traits:
Very timid, needs time to feel comfortable
Brindle & white coat
Loves pats and sitting in your lap
Good with dogs and cats but shy
No small children—prefers a calm environment
Needs leash training and basic obedience
Not interested in toys, mildly food motivated
Ollie is a sweet and gentle soul who just needs the right person to help him build confidence and feel secure. With patience and consistency, Ollie has the potential to become a loyal and loving companion. If you’re ready to offer a quiet and understanding home, Ollie could be the perfect match for you!
