Super-playful and energetic, George is always ready to greet you with a full-speed dash to your feet - the best welcome home you could ask for!
He has boundless enthusiasm for both humans and other cats, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-cat household. He’s a fan of catnip toys, toy springs, and wand toys, and when he's not dashing madly about he enjoys a cuddle. He loves being carried, too!
Despite his lively nature, George is also great at settling down when needed. He’s learned to quietly relax in his designated spot while his foster human works from home - he doesn't catwalk the keyboards, nibble cables, or get up to distracting shenanigans :) George is also litter trained, respects furniture, and never play-bites.
Whether you’re looking for a spirited companion or a playful new member of your cat family, George could be the perfect fit!
Like all Maggie's pets, George is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have at least one other cat to keep me entertained and help me use up my huge stores of energy! I also adore human company, so if you're around quite a bit and up for regular games and interactive playtime, that would be amazing.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Through the roof!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm likely to get along with kids old enough to be gentle and understand when I need space. Bonus points if they like to play :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
