About Dove
*In foster care in Drummoyne, Sydney*
Meet Dove - a petite black beauty with striking green eyes! This gentle girl came into foster care with her newborn babies after escaping a tough past. Despite her beginnings, Dove has an incredibly sweet temperament with just a small scar on her side as a reminder.
Dove is a total laid-back smooch, always leaning in for pats and 'talking' (chirping) to you. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or working from home, she’ll be right by your side, ready to settle into your lap for cuddles :) She loves Yeowww catnip toys and her creamy treats!
Dove is also litter trained, doesn’t play-bite, and respects furniture in her current foster home - making her the purrfect addition to virtually any type of cat-loving household :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Dove is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: With my easygoing nature, I'm sure to thrive almost anywhere - whether with a single person, a couple, or a family with kids! I'm adaptable enough to be the only cat, or a great first pet for someone considering more cats in the future.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm generally laid-back and mellow, but l love daily play sessions too!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: While I've not been tested with children, I think my sweet temperament and no play-bite habit could make me a good companion for children with gentle hands.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'll be best suited to a home with no other cats in residence, though I might be amenable to new additions down the track.
I haven't met any dogs at this stage.

No known pre-existing conditions.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
