About Nirvana
Hi There,
My name is Nirvana and I’m a very well behaved 2 yr old Staffy x.
I was surrendered to a rural NSW pound when a family realised they had too many dogs. There I stayed for 3 months until MPDR saved me.
My foster mum is constantly telling me that there should be a photo of me under the word “perfect” in the dictionary. I don’t quite understand what that means but given she always follows it by lots of kisses and cuddles, I’m guessing it’s a good thing!
I’m very laid back and great with other dogs. I’m not yet tested with cats but I do think I’d be ok as I don’t have a bad bone in my body.
I've also been tested with young kids and as expected I'm awesome with them too!
I’m also very calm and well behaved when I know I’m going for a walk. I do prefer the 5m lead though as it allows me to walk ahead or stop to sniff but I’m also good on a short lead.
I’m not really interested in balls or going to the park to play fetch, it’s really not my thing but I do love it when I meet other dogs along the way.
To be perfectly honest, my favourite past time is just snuggling on the couch or bed and staring into the eyes of the one that loves me! I know I shouldn’t be too picky but please really consider this if you’re thinking of adopting me as I desperately need to snuggle into the arms of my best friend.
I’m also fully house trained but still chewing a little whilst left alone so best to elevate certain things like cushions and shoes for the short term unless you’re happy to pick up the pieces upon your return.
I’m also not food driven, although I love my dinner and all the treats I get but certainly do not carry on like a “pork chop” when there’s food around.
If you are looking for a companion to snuggle, cuddle and love on the couch and bed, then I'm your guy. I will not cope with being ignored or left outside.
I will be desexed on 28th November and then ready for Adoption 😀
In closing, if you’re looking for a relatively lazy and loving pup then I’m definitely the one for you!
