About Apricot
MEET Apricot!! D240668
Looking for a big-hearted canine companion to join your family? Apricot might just be the loyal friend you've been searching for! This nearly 2 year old male Staghound cross is bursting with personality and can’t wait to find his forever and ever humans.
Apricot has a little training under his belt and is an eager student who is keen to learn all there is to know! Apricot is a young dog with the whole world ahead of him, he just needs a little help to work out how he, and his long legs, fit!
Apricot is possibly suited to a house with children with careful supervision and guidance. And is possibly suited to a home with cats or small animals with careful introductions and supervision.
Apricot is familiar with living with dogs in the past and could fit into a household that has an existing canine.
When it comes to new environments, Apricot may need a bit of extra guidance. He's not the most experienced with the big wide world, but with patience and gentle exposure and socialisation, he's sure to improve over time!
It's important to note that Apricot has some of the longest legs in the shelter and will need a home with secure fencing to ensure he stays at home! However, with plenty of mental stimulation and exercise, he's sure to realise that home is best!
Apricot’s loving heart and sweet, affectionate nature make him a wonderful addition to the right family. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a loyal companion, please complete the online adoption questionnaire. Application MUST INCLUDE photos of your secure yard, and if successful, a member of the shelter staff will be in touch to organize a meet & greet.
