About Zipping Indy
Hi everyone, my racing name was Zipping Indy, but you can call me Musa. I was saved by MPDR 2 years ago after a life of racing and breeding.
I was adopted into a loving family, but now due to personal reasons, my family are unable to keep me and they are devastated.
I am now a loving, gentle 8 year old female black greyhound with a white chest. My tail has been partially docked due to happy tail syndrome and I have large bald patches on my bottom. This hair has never grown back and we are unsure why.
I absolutely love children! They are the bees knees to play with and so are large and medium dogs. Like many sight hounds, I find small dogs and cats fun to chase. So no pocket pets please.
I do suffer from seperation anxiety, but am not destructive. I may rip up a little paper if it is lying around.
I love to wear my thunder shirt when I am anxious and I have a few cute coats to try on.
I have a slight limp that MPDR will check out and due to my age, this may be mild arthritis. It doesn't bother me too much though.
I walk very well on the lead and after a short walk in the morning, I'm very happy to just sleep. I'd be awesome for most families, retired couple or mature family. Even those in apartments!
Make sure that all food is away from the benches and that all bins are locked away. I am a bin diver and bench surfer!
I am quite lean, but am very healthy, just a ribby, fine greyhound. My commands include: recalling (when I feel like it), stay and lie on my bed. I am also toilet trained.
If your family are looking for a low maintenance mature girl to cuddle up to, look no further than Indy/Musa.
