Mr Fitzy

Friendly and social Mr Fitzy is looking for a foster-to-adopt home because we want to monitor his old fracture a little longer and support his new home, should he need treatment.

We first heard of Fitzy earlier this year when a lady moved to a new property down on the peninsula and discovered four kittens in her garage. Nearby was also their mum and Mr Fitzy who had roamed the nearby reserve for a few years, no matter the heat of summer and the cold & rain in winter.

When Fitzy was finally rescued, he was covered in dirt, a bit of his ear missing, and a broken foot that had healed in the wrong position a long ago, probably since he was just a fluffy kitten.

After all he’s been through, Fitzy is the most laid-back, resilient, adaptable and good-natured big boof head boy. The first evening when he was placed in a playpen, he chewed his way out and demanded a cuddle, showing how much love he has to give.

Fitzy is a huge fluffy boy who sails through life with a diplomatic attitude - he is so good-natured that he gets along with dogs, cats, kids of all ages and adults. He's just happy to be himself, in a comfort of a home with good people.

Mr. Fitzy is looking for a foster-to-adopt home because we want to keep an eye on the old, healed fracture in his foot. It has left him with a mild limp and we want to support his new home in case he needs treatment before he leaves the rescue.
