About Paris
Paris came to us from a very sad start to life. She lived in a house with a cat hoarder- with 38 other cats. She hadn't been desexed, and had litter after litter for the first five years of her life. She came to us after rescue groups and the Cat Protection Society stepped in to help with this very sad situation.
Paris came to us with her 5 beautiful kittens when they were just two weeks old. I fostered her at my place for two months, giving her my cosy spare room to raise her kittens and to feel safe and nourished for the first time in her life. The kittens all blossomed and found wonderful homes. Paris was thin, her coat was short and discoloured and years of poor nutrition and stress from having so many litters had caused her to have bad teeth. Our wonderful head vet Dr Steve performed a major dental treatment and she had all of the painful teeth removed. She recovered beautifully and has flourished into the most absolutely stunning, magnificent cat.
Paris was scared to be touched when she first came to my place. She was scared of noises and would hide. It took time for her to start coming to me but she soon learnt to adore being brushed, she loves curling up on my lap to sleep and she is SO affectionate and friendly towards me. We have formed a very special bond and I would keep her myself if my circumstances were different- my adult cat Cleo won't accept another cat!
So now I'm looking for the dream home for Paris. She has to be an indoor only cat due to her white complexion. She loves small spaces and doesn't require a huge home- she'd be perfectly suited to apartment life. My dream for her is someone who will love her as dearly as I do - you'll be rewarded with the most stunning, perfect companion you could hope for.
Please get in touch if you know you can give Paris the safe, long, happy and loving life she deserves.

Medical notes
Paris underwent major dental treatment and had most of her teeth extracted- so the good news is she won't need any more dental work!
This doesn't affect her ability to eat her favourite Royal Canin biscuits, and she ADORES wet food and Churu treat tubes! She is otherwise in immaculate health.
FIV and FeLv Negative.

Adoption details
Please direct messages to Rosie, our kitten adoption officer. Please provide as much details about your home and family as possible. We are a very busy vet hospital, so we prefer no phone calls :) Thank you.
IMPORTANT: All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
Please note we do not hold kittens - it's a first in, first served basis once we have reviewed your application and invited you to meet the kitten.
