About Penny Lane
Cat friendly 🐈 Dog friendly 🐕 Child Friendly 👶
Hello, my name is Penny Lane.
I am a pretty, 2 year old Bull Arab girl with a lovely white and black spotted coat.
I have very large ears that I love to have massaged.
I will talk to you during the day. I will let you know when I need to go outside, when we need to go for a walk, when there is someone at the door or if I want your attention such as to please lower the car window so I smell the fresh air.
I love to play! I love tug-a-war, chasey and love to ruff house with you.
As I am still very young everything is bright and interesting to me. But these precious young years are not forever, and I will soon calm down as I mature and enter my adult years.
My foster parents say I am quirky, inquisitive, talkative and quick to learn. I will do anything for a treat.. especially if it is BBQ chicken! My foster parents also say I am a good girl at home. I am toilet-trained and can hang on through the night. I don’t have separation anxiety and won’t chew things while you are out. I will patiently wait until you return home.
I am still learning my dog social manners and although I may bark, I soon calm down once I meet the dog. I just want to meet all dogs and play!
For walking, I am still best suited to a harness as I am learning (through the reward of treats) to not pull and be a nice fur-lady on the lead.
My new family needs to be committed to my training and take me to obedience training (this is non-negotiable).
My ideal home would be one that has a grass backyard so I can explore and do zoomies. I would love to have my hoomans at home for a good portion of the time. I would love to share my home with another friendly playful dog.
I have lived with kids around 7 and 10 years old and I was very gentle with them.
I need regular exercise and will need to have two good 30+-minute walks each day.
I have been tested with two cats and I am cat friendly, I just wanted to go up and nuzzle them, so I would be great with a dog savvy cat.
I need to be an inside dog and not left out in the backyard as my hoomans are very important to me and I want to be included in the pack.
Here are my requirements:
- Backyard with grass
- Hoomans home a good portion of the time like work from home or hybrid working arrangements
- Continue obedience training
- Hoomans who can give me lots of love and affection
- Allowed indoors with freedom i.e. not told to remain on a matt if I am inside.
If you are looking for an beautful active girl who you will be committed to continue training and already have an active, playful dog, Penny Lane might be the girl for you!
