About Titus
Titus is a seven month old German Shepherd whose owner has to move and can't take him with them.
He has had basic training, although being a young dog will love to have more.
Titus is still young and bouncy so not suited to a family with young children. He hasn't been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Titus has all the fantastic hallmarks of the German Shepherd breed - intelligent, energetic, and cheekily playful in the best possible ways.
Being a young dog, his ideal new family would be one that has the time to spend with him and continue his training.
The most important thing to Titus is that he becomes a part of your family, included in family activities, adventures.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the energy to give me a new home, then please select the "Enquire about Titus"
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Titus. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Titus is microchipped and vaccinated and will be desexed after he is twelve months old as per vet advice.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
