About Yoda
My name is Yoda, First of all, I'm hilarious.
AND absolutely everyone loves me, just as much as I love them
I'm an American Staffordshire at one year of age. I'm a big boy.
I have been moved around quite a lot. I haven't found my 'family'. There have been a few times when I was so sure the humans would adopt me. But that hasn't happened just yet.
I'm full of life, I love life!
When I'm at 'home' , I chill out with the hoomans, cats and my other canine mates.
I love snuggling up in the humans bed, kicking back, and having a snooze.
When we go out - it's on, no time to waste!! Everything is just so amazing.
I guess I get a bit distracted... and I must admit I do struggle to contain my excitement.
But lately, this human has been teaching me new ways to control myself. I try really hard, but sometimes I just fogets 😅.
The human says I need consistent training. So, then it makes it a bit easier to remember. She also said something about being stern and persistent and that this requires patience 🫤
Anyway, whatever.... TOYS. My favourite toy is my Kong, I could chew on that bad boy all day long.
On some days, magic happens - my Kong gets filled with peanut butter. It's tricky to get to, I don't know why the human doesn't just give it me the PB, oh well, I'm super smart, so I always get it allllllllll, even if it does take an entire day.
I go for walks twice a day. This new hooman has me wearing this strap thing around my nose. It's so weird and embarrassing. But our walks are much more peaceful,
I think it has powers to make me walk slower, I can't walk my owner when I'm wearing it!
I am now super friendly with my cat friends and have even shared my breakfast with the kitten. I love playing with groodles, a dachshund and a bull arab! I'm a really social boy!
I do have slight hip displaysia in one hip, however this is not affecting me currently. It would be advisable for me to take up swimming and for to start taking supplements to assist my hips and muscles.
I do suffer greatly from seperation anxiety, I have been working on it, but would need someone home all the time or able to take me with them to work etc. I just love people so much.
If you are after a super affectionate boy to be your shadow, to love you unconditionally and to be friends with everyone and thing, then I'm your boy!
