Han Solo

Han Solo is a handsome man who gets attention and compliments wherever he goes. He is a 6 year old English x American Staffy.

He enjoys going on adventures with you both in the car and on foot, always being eager to meet and say hi to new friends.

He walks well on the lead while staying on your left side and will walk comfortably at any pace you choose. He does not become distracted by his fellow doggy companion.

Han solo will need to go to a family where he will have another friendly doggy companion. One who is calm but also up for the occasional play and wrestle.

Ideally they will allow him to snuggle up with him and happily share a bed and toys.
He has shown no signs of resource guarding.
He is toilet trained and knows basic commands, showing promise to learn even more with some patience and training. He is a smart boy who only wants your love and approval.

Han solo is a gentle and affectionate boy. If allowed he will snuggle in bed with you and make his way under the doona (he does feel the cold), where he will snore away happily until you wake up.

Han solo requires a special diet. So far dehydrated chicken breasts are what works best for training and rewards, and he is gentle while taking them from your hand.

He has that gorgeous staffy talk when he wants your attention. He adapts well to a routine and will let you know if its getting close to dinner or walk times. He has the cutest little wiggly body and can surprise you with the speed of his zoomies.

Han solos ideal family will be one where he is an indoor mostly dog with another doggy companion, and humans who are patient, kind, and reassuring. With time he will form a very close bond and settle in perfectly to the right home.

He can be destructive if left home alone. In foster care, once a strong bond was formed with his foster brother, he was happily left home without any humans (as long as he has his foster brother). He has consistently proven himself to be the best boy who deserves a wonderful life.

Han solo has recently had his tail dicked as a malignant tumour was found on it. He has since had a CT scan and there is a very low chance of cancer appearing in the near future.

Han solo currently lives with 4 children from the ages of 6 to 15 and is awesome with all of them.
