About Ted - Loacted in Abbotsford
Hey there, folks! Ted here, reporting for cuddle duty! They call me Ted the cuddly, Ted the brave, but let me tell you, I'm also Ted the wallflower. Yep, you heard that right—I'm the master of coziness, spending a solid 80% of my time snuggled up in bed. But hey, who can blame me? A warm bed is just too irresistible to resist!
Now, I'll admit, I can be a little shy at first, but don't let that scare you off. All I really want is a good chin scratch and some TLC, and I'll warm up to you faster than you can say "snuggle buddy."
But enough about my cuddle prowess, let's talk about my playful side. I'm curious by nature and love exploring my surroundings, all without wreaking havoc on your furniture, of course. And speaking of playtime, I've got this game where I try to catch my tail—and let me tell you, I'm still undefeated! Maybe one day I'll catch it for good, but until then, the chase is half the fun!
Now, when it comes to companionship, I'm your man. I've got oodles of love to give, and if you're in need of a snuggly buddy, well, look no further. Give me a chance, and I'll reward you with the loudest purrrrrs you've ever heard.
So, what do you say, humans? Ready to add a dash of curiosity and playfulness to your life? Then adopt me, Ted, today! Trust me, you won't regret it! 🐾

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
