About Kaja
Get ready to meet Kaja, a pup with so much love to give and the energy to match. Select 'Enquire about Kaja' to take your first step toward gaining a loyal, intelligent, and absolutely delightful companion.
Get ready to meet Kaja, a vibrant and loving German Shepherd, that is only one-year-old and is absolutely bursting with love and affection. Kaja has a delightful personality and a spirit to match, making her a constant source of joy and laughter. With her owners relocating and unable to find a dog-friendly rental, Kaja is looking for a fresh start. She promises to fill her new home with an abundance of love and cheer that she is known for.
Kaja is a sweet soul that is eager to please, a true testament to her breed. She has a heart full of love which she isn't afraid to share. She knows how to sit, drop, shake hands, and stay, showing the perfect balance of being a vivacious pup and a smart listener. Surprisingly, Kaja will even sit by just hinting at her with two fingers in the air, eagerly waiting for her food and water – quite the talk of the town with her manners!
Kaja uses every opportunity for a snuggle; she will often place her head in your lap, asking for a hug – moments that will warm your heart every day. She is crate trained, too, happily going into her crate at night and sleeping peacefully. She has been careful to keep the house clean, preferring to do her business outside.
Her current owners genuinely love her and only want the best for her; they wish for her to find a new family where she will always be safe and loved.
She is untested with cats and pocket pets. Also due to her age and size we don't recommend her to go to a home with young children.
A loyal, intelligent, and delightful companion is what you will find in Kaja, a dog that is ready to bring joy and love into your life. Take that first step and inquire about Kaja, a pup with unlimited love and energy. She is eagerly waiting to start her new adventure with a loving family who can match her ebullience. Let Kaja fill your home with her zest for life, love, and the simple joys of companionship.
Lastly, if you’re a resident of Queensland or Victoria, you’re welcome to consider Kaja as a new family member. You would, however, need to be able to drive your family to meet her. We only want what's best for Kaja, and we are keen to ensure that she finds a home where she truly fits in.
Medical notes
Kaja is microchipped and vaccinated and will be desexed once we found a home for her.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
