About Tigger
Tigger is a Black and Tan, 18 month, desexed Male Kelpie X, looking for his forever home.
He is a very clever pup, looking to please and like most working dogs. Tigger is a stereotypical young Kelpie, so be prepared for energy plus, that needs to be used through exercise and mental stimulation. He would be perfect for dog sports or on a small acreage.
He is a very friendly loving dog that enjoys scratches behind his ears, chasing after birds and playing with his toys.
He has completed basic obedience training (sit, wait, drop, good recall) and is ready to learn the rules of his new home. His new owners should be ready to spend time on training and obedience. Best suited in a cat free home with a large yard. He's great with kids but might overwhelm small children with his energy and kisses. This energetic and playful, sweet natured boy just wants to please!
Tigger has lived happily with other dogs and loves being social with other dogs and people at the dog park and exploring outside. Tigger would be happy with a doggy friend, preferably trained and of a similar level of energy! He is very social and loves meeting people, so would be best suited to a family or person home more often than not and that are willing to include him in their activities.
Tigger is still learning his off switch and is currently in wonder of everything that flies overhead, rides past and rustles in the grass. When he is in a lower stimulated area he settles beautifully and loves attention and cuddles.
Tigger is toilet trained and crate trained. His new family would be confident with a working breed and committed to his on going training.
