About Barry
Introducing Barry, a relaxed and sweet-natured dog who enjoys his own company but is also always eager for a good playtime. Well-behaved and adept, Barry walks quietly on a lead and responds to commands with ease, making him a pleasure to take on leisurely walks or ambitious hikes.
Barry embraces change with enthusiasm, having recently transitioned from a rural environment, and has quickly found his feet in a more populated setting. This adaptable chap is understanding, patient, and quick to settle into new surroundings. Barry's a smooth-coated charmer who carries a hearty weight of 22.5kg, which only adds to his considerable charm and appealing looks.
Suitable for a full-time worker, Barry isn't overly needy and can entertain himself for periods of time.
He wishes for a home that has a bit more space, with access to a garden where he can exercise and engage his natural curiosity. Regular walks outside are right up his alley, as it gives him the freedom to explore and burn off his energy. His ideal day would include some quiet time to himself, a fun play session, and a nice long walk.
In summary, if you're looking for a calm, sweet, and adaptable companion, Barry is your guy! His relaxed disposition and loving personality make him an ideal pet, especially for those who have to work during the day but still want a loyal friend to come home to.
Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
