About Bobby
I am a 5-month-old with a striking 'liquorice' colour coat. I know I was a very feisty boy with a lot of anti-social and anger management issues to work through from 4 weeks old. It took a great deal of patience from both Foster Mum and myself with a lot of help from the resident cats and one other foster my bestie Maggie for me to become the 'best boy' I can be.
My Aunty says if the hunt were on for a new James Bond (feline version) I would be it. My foster mum says I certainly have the acting skills. If my food is a few minutes late I lie down behind her but keep one eye open, if she goes off to do something else, I sprint in front and throw myself down to show it is a matter of life or death. My CH name is Bobby but foster Mum calls me Gnarls because Crazy by Gnarls Barclay was playing as I was showing off my ball control skills around the living room. If I hear GNAAAARLS! I make myself scarce because I am about to be placed in time-out for some minor misdemeanour. Luckily, there other fosters and a couple of resident cats so she is easily distracted, or I get a lecture about needing a good finishing school, YAWN.
Foster Mum says: Gnarls loves to nap at the top of a cat tree and considers it a 'safe nap spot'. He loves to play King of the Castle from this vantage point with his foster besty, who is double in weight and size but it doesn't deter him - he's very Braveheart like but also a bit of a klutz in that he regularly falls of the cat tree when doing very little.
He loves toys of any description and his current best friend Maggie in equal measure, but also happy to jump the queue if there is cuddles to be had. Gnarls really needs a young energetic feline for company, comfort and grow his confidence further so he can be his best self. He would not suit a home with dogs unless they are lovers of skittish energetic cats. Equally, he would not suit a house with toddlers/young children. I think he would bond with older calmer youngsters.
The way to this boy's heart is food he will literally hang off your skirt at mealtimes and wail like the world is about to end if he's not fed first. Not a huge fan of biscuits - prefers wet food and shredded chicken and a bowl of fresh water to hand.
Pictures attached; some include him with his besty Maggie who went to her forever home very recently.
If you think this unique boy is for you, please make a time to visit in his foster home. #catcompatible
Medical Notes
Bobby has a waiver for Cat Flu (recovered).
Bobby is suspected of having a condition called Juvenile Gingivitis. Many cats will grow out of this issue before approximately 2 years of age, however some will have the condition for life.
Bobby is located with my foster family in Yokine.

Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
