About Roscoe
Hi! My name is Roscoe, but my foster parents call me Syd.
I am a very sweet, one of a kind 5 year old lady. A skilled user of the litter box, i am the perfect indoor companion. Your furniture is safe in my paws, as I am not much into scratching.
I prefer to sit next to you on the couch and watch TV, rather than on your lap. I don't love being picked up but I will tolerate it.
If you work from home, I will sleep on your decoy laptop while you work (as pictured), making us the ultimate dream team.
I lived with another cat for about a week and I very much wanted to be friends. Sadly my overtures were not reciprocated. My foster parents think I would go well with another cat if we were given the right introduction.
I have a few quirky habits, including chewing on your favourite house plants- but my foster parents can recommend a plant spray to keep my jaws at bay.
At times I am quite chatty, usually when I need something.
My foster parents say I am an absolute delight to have around. As I have settled into my foster home, I have enjoyed playing with various toys, including a mouse and a ball.
If you think you could give me a loving forever home, please come meet me in my foster home. #catcompatible
Medical Notes
Roscoe has a condition called epiphora, sometimes known as blocked tear ducts. This condition has most likely formed as a result of a previous flu infection. Blocked tear ducts can cause the under or over production of tears, and can predispose your cat to eye infections. Therefore they may require intermittent treatment throughout their life.
I am located with my foster family in Scarborough.

Please note: Clicking Register Adoption Interest does not place a "hold" on the cat, or guarantee an adoption, but is a request to meet the cat with a view to possibly adopting.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
