About Mr Dave
Hi I'm Mr Dave.
I've been nicknamed Garfield by the kids that foster me in the family I'm in right now. So don't worry you can change my name.
I'm a very loving cat I just want cuddles it will take me not long to get use to the environment. I need to be the only pet or dog outside but no other cats please.
I am FIV+ and will need to be an indoor cat only.
I love salmon and tuna .
I love biscuits and I all around just love my cuddles and attention but I will let you know when I have had enough. I won't hurt you but I will let you know as I can't talk :) #nodogs #nocats #fivpositive #indooronlyy
Medical Notes
Mr Dave has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a retrovirus that can compromise the immune system, spread by fighting and deep penetrating wounds. They should lead a normal life despite this diagnosis, but there are a few special considerations that need to be made in regards to their health and well-being long term. These include being an inside only cat; slow and careful introduction to other cats; and annual vaccinations and health checks.
Mr Dave has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.
Mr Dave has had a surgery called a femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO). An FHO is a surgical procedure that aims to restore pain-free mobility to a diseased or damaged hip, by removing the head and neck of the femur.
I am located with my foster family in Carramar.

Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
