Dragonnel (known as Alfie) by his foster carers is a gorgeous large - medium bull terrier cross Ridgeback who is still very much a puppy at 1 year old.
He was surrendered to a rural NSW pound his family with kids was moving and he'd received no training at all.
At 1 year old he is super affectionate, loves snuggles, especially being held like a baby! No one told him he was too big to be lap dog!
Dragonnel also has very bouncy moments as he is still young and requires a dog savvy family, preferably with bully breed experience.
He walks wonderfully on the lead, but like many dogs becomes excited and pulls when he sees a bird or other dogs!
Dragonnel adores all other dogs and wants to play, is crate trained, toilet trained, food motivated making training a breeze.
He would prefer a home with another dog that matches his medium energy levels to play and a nice backyard. He'd be great with dog savvy kids who are not afraid of slightly boisterous dogs.
Dragonnel's ideal home will have another dog, an active family that involves him in every day life and allows him inside often for snuggles. He will require ongoing training for leashwork as he grows into an adult dog.
He really is a lovely boy and a social butterfly!
