About Charlie
Charlie is a very shy girl but with lots of character. She spends her days playing with her siblings and teasing the dogs. She rubs up against them before running off so they can chase her. Very cute to see.
Charlie does not like to be touched, will let you come up close, sniff your fingers and maybe pat her down her back but then run off, turn around, sit and give you that look of ‘look but don’t touch’. Will sit close to humans and follow you around all day when not playing with her siblings.
Charlie can be adopted alone but would be best with one of her siblings or another cat. Did not take her long to warm up to the resident cats. Loves attention and would benefit from a family who are patient with her shyness. In time I think more human contact would be beneficial.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is flexible yet thorough. We want to ensure that every kitty is placed in a safe and loving home while also being welcoming and fair to all applicants. Please note that all adoptions are strictly indoors only, unless a secured enclosure is accessible.
If you are ready for a meet and greet or prepared to adopt, we encourage you to submit an enquiry.
Before proceeding with adoption, please ensure that all members of your household and your leasing agreements allow pets.
Adoptions are subject to a 14-day trial period. If the cat is returned during this trial period, we offer a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
We kindly ask applicants to provide necessary information about their household, lifestyle, existing pets, and where the new pet will be kept. Once received, we will arrange a meet and greet for you and the kitty, followed by a house inspection.
🐾 During meet and greets, cats and kittens may feel shy or disinterested in strangers. We encourage you to spend as much time as possible and be patient and understanding. Interacting with treats or toys can help during these encounters. Feel free to ask the foster families about the cat's behavior when they first arrived and what their personality is like when they are comfortable.
🐾 Remember, if you decide to adopt, cats can take days, weeks, or even months to fully adjust to a new home and show their true personality. Give them the time and space they need to settle in. They may require extra patience and understanding during this transition period.
Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption contract will be filled out with all the relevant information.
At the end of a successful trial, a transfer of ownership will be provided.
Wishing you all the best in your search! 😊
