About Luca
Introducing Luca, a mature, gentle, and easygoing dog who's perfect for a relaxed lifestyle. With a love for leisurely walks and a calm demeanor around other dogs, Luca would be a wonderful companion for someone seeking an easygoing friend.
Luca walks at a slow pace, sticking by your side like a devoted companion. Although we suspect he may be hard of hearing, it doesn't hinder his adorable charm. Luca’s world revolves around treats and good company, both of which he welcomes with a wagging tail and well-mannered demeanor. He's also apartment-friendly, which means he can comfortably adapt to living in smaller spaces.
Health-wise, Luca does have some arthritis in his hips, which is common in mature dogs. To ensure he remains mobile and comfortable, he's currently being given neutraceuticals and anti-inflammatories, paired with zydax injections. These treatments address his arthritis and offer relief, enhancing his quality of life. Weighing in at 32.8kg and sporting a beautiful double coat, Luca is a gentle giant who’s a total softy at heart.
Luca is also well suited to full-time workers. He's the kind of dog who will wait patiently as you go about your day, greeting you with obvious joy when you return. If you're looking for a charming, low-energy companion who will always be there to cheer you up after a long day of work, Luca could be your perfect match.
His patient and gentle spirit paired with his well-mannered demeanor make Luca one of a kind — he would quickly become your calm and comforting friend, proving that, indeed, dogs are a human's best friend.

Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
