Meet Sharkee, a beautiful, friendly Bullmastiff mix. Weighing in at a robust 45kgs, this 9-year-old gentleman is ready to melt your heart. He carries a soul of a big friendly dog (BFD), despite his imposing size. His endearing personality of loving people makes him a wonderfully loyal companion.
Sharkee may take his sweet time to get used to new people, but once he does, he is incredibly affectionate. He absolutely enjoys cuddling up, showing love and constantly seeking a gentle pad and an occasional belly rub. Although a little older now, age hasn't lessened Sharkee's charm or his enthusiasm for life.
Sharkee typically gets along with the majority of his smaller counterparts. He has not had much experience with cats, so his compatibility with them remains unsure. When it comes to children - he's excellent. His gentle nature and love for people extend to the youngest members of the family as well.
This big guy requires a secure fence, as is essential for his breed. He likes having a good space to roam and play but appreciates the security of a safe enclosure.
Sharkee is currently calling Wamuran home but is eagerly looking for a new family to show him all the love and tenderness he deserves. Wherever he lands, we're confident Sharkee will bring immeasurable joy, laughter, and lots of cuddles. So, If you are looking for a big friendly dog who can fill your home with happiness, Sharkee is waiting for you!

Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.

Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
