About Ken π
Meet Ken!
Our fun-loving and joyful little rabbit. He is a cheerful companion with a zest for exploring his surroundings. Ken is not just your regular rabbit - he's an explorer on four furry legs, ever curious and ready to find his next adventure.
His lovely manners extend to everyone, including other animals. He's pleasantly social and would bring joy to a household with other pets as he thrives on interaction and friendship. Ken is endlessly entertaining, often amazing you with his playful antics. He may even benefit from finding a 'Barbie' to bond with β€
This adventurous bunny prefers a set-up that allows both indoor and outdoor activities. Ken dreams of a generous indoor space where he can lounge around when it's time to rest, but wherever possible, he loves grass under his feet. He would love to have the sun warming his fur from time to time, and the chance to dig, nibble, and leap in the great outdoors is his idea of a great pastime.
Ken's ideal new family would provide him with plenty of opportunities for exploration and play, with an enriched environment of toys, tunnels, and bunny safe structures.
If you are looking for a bundle of joy to fill your home with happiness, Ken is your guy.

Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and is used to figure out whether animal is the right fit for your household and what you are looking for, and also if your household is the right fit for the animal.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by one of our volunteer adoption coordinators usually by phone call or message. This is an informal conversation to discuss any questions we may have about the application and re-confirm any information provided. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet with you and the animal.
It is a Strong Heartβs adoption policy to arrange a Meet & Greet with the prospective family and the animal before finalising the adoption. The Meet & Greet will allow the opportunity to visit the animal and have a pat and a play with them. The foster carer will tell you a bit about the animal's personality and what they have been like for the time theyβve been in their care. It is a great opportunity to ask the carer about the animals food, sleeping and any other health requirements.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
