About Brave
Meet Brave!
Brave is a beacon of love, affection, and warmth who simply adores her human friends and fellow felines. This darling girl is sure to light up a room with her dazzling personality and her infectious sweetness.
Brave is an indoor cat with an unbounded love for life. Her relaxed demeanor and alluring charm will make your heart flutter graciously. She isn't just cute; Brave is the definition of feline beauty, inside and out. With her mesmerizing gaze, she weaves a web of affection, making her a favorite among our volunteers.
Though she doesn't ask for much, mutual affection is something she finds essential. You'll often spot her gently rubbing against a volunteer's legs or comfortably nestled in their laps, making the most soothing purring sounds. Her love for cuddling can't be overstated, and she deeply enjoys the peaceful moments nestled into warm laps or cozy bedding.
Brave's social nature truly appears in her interactions with other cats. She adores other felines and needs a home with at least one other gentle cat for company. The companionship gives her a sense of ease, and it's a pleasure to watch her bond and play with her pals.
Brave is a joy to have around the house. Her quiet companionship and vibrant personality will be the ray of sunshine that brightens your day. So, if you have a place in your home and your heart for a loving, social, and adorably best cat friend, Brave may very well be the perfect fit. She graces everyone she meets with her sweetness, and she can't wait for the chance to share that sweetness with her new family.
Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and is used to figure out whether animal is the right fit for your household and what you are looking for, and also if your household is the right fit for the animal.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by one of our volunteer adoption coordinators usually by phone call or message. This is an informal conversation to discuss any questions we may have about the application and re-confirm any information provided. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet with you and the animal.
It is a Strong Heart’s adoption policy to arrange a Meet & Greet with the prospective family and the animal before finalising the adoption. The Meet & Greet will allow the opportunity to visit the animal and have a pat and a play with them. The foster carer will tell you a bit about the animal's personality and what they have been like for the time they’ve been in their care. It is a great opportunity to ask the carer about the animals food, sleeping and any other health requirements.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
