About Kevin
Introducing Kevin, a charming little canine companion who's enthusiastically devoted to being your new best friend! Kevin is a cuddle magnet who's always eager to climb onto your lap, so if you're working from home and could use some furry companionship, he's your ideal match!
Socially, Kevin shines brightly around small dogs, but his circle of trust leans heavily toward humans. He's seeking a dedicated companion who can offer him the comfort, companionship and kindness he yearns for. His adorable habit of occupying chairs and couches speaks volumes about his love for comfort and his innate ability to fit right into a cozy home setting.
Like us all, Kevin has a few quirks. When he's nervous or uncertain, he can get a little snappy, especially when being picked up, making it essential to understand and respect his body language. But with love and patience, he has proven to be a loyal and affectionate pet.
He is easy to bathe and to care for with his short coat weighing just 4.1kg.
Kevin is the perfect pal for those who understand the transformation journey of rescue pets. His past experiences may have left him a little unsure of the world, but with the right love and care, Kevin will reward you with the most profound gratitude and companionship. He'd be happiest in a home where he's seldom left alone, ideally with someone who works from home and can provide him with regular strolls or safe open spaces.
In a nutshell, Kevin, with his love for life and human company, can brighten up your home in an instant! Whether you're on the couch, at your desk, or on a walk, Kevin's unwavering devotion will provide you with pure pet love every step of the way.
Suit Home Based Person: Unable to cope alone and has shown signs of separation anxiety. Needs human company.
Apartment Friendly: Could cope in an apartment environment. Regular walks or use of an artificial grass patch is suggested.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience and an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
