About Peggy Puma
Hello, I'm Peggy Puma, a one-year-old ticked tabby with a tale to tell! I've been on quite the journey, and I'm ready to find my forever home. You see, life at the shelter was a bit overwhelming for me at first. I was so shy that I preferred the cozy confines of blankets, only emerging for meals and litter box duties.
But then, magic happened - I found myself in the care of some amazing foster parents and a feline friend named Chikoo. They understood the way to my heart: through my stomach! Yes, I'm quite food-motivated, and that turned out to be the key to drawing me out of my shell.
Here's a quirky tidbit about me: I didn't talk much initially, but when the magic word "food" came into play, I became quite the chatterbox, especially during meal preparations. Food is my forte, and I have a lot to express about it!
Now, let's talk about my foster feline sister, Chikoo. She's been my rock, offering comfort when I'm feeling lonely and encouraging me to partake in playful adventures around the house.
Despite my initial shyness, there's one thing that never fazed me - the world outside. I love sitting by the big doors, observing the comings and goings. It's my version of kitty TV, and I find it incredibly soothing.
However, there's one thing that consistently gives me a bit of a start - strangers. They tend to scare me, but fear not! My foster parents have always ensured I have a safe place to feel safe when guests visit. It might take me a few hours to be convinced that the new humans mean no harm, but with a bit of time, I warm up and show my curious and playful side.
With endless curiosities and a growing confidence, I've transformed into a playful explorer. These days, you'll catch me boldly navigating every nook and cranny of the house and engaging in thrilling games of hide and chase with my foster sister, Chikoo. I even have a tradition of making biscuits with my foster parents, especially when we're all sitting on the couch after dinner.
I'm now on the lookout for a loving home where I can continue to blossom. If you're someone who appreciates a cat with a bit of mystery and a lot of charm, then I'm the purrfect match. Let's create lasting memories together! #catcompatible
Medical Notes
Peggy Puma has mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.
Peggy Puma has a waiver for a chipped tooth. Our veterinarians have carefully assessed this chip and no further treatment is currently required.
Peggy Puma has a skin condition called Feline Acne or Chin Acne. It is not known what causes this skin reaction, though it is usually mild and manageable. Using stainless steel or ceramic bowls rather than plastic often assists.
I am located with my foster family in Victoria Park.

Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
