Askeladden

Introducing Askeladden (Aka "Blade"), the coolest mix of Kelpie and Whippet you’ll ever meet! He may rock the sleek Whippet look, but trust us, this dude’s got the energy and personality of an all out Kelpie.

At a young 1.5 years old, Askeladden is all about park shenanigans and zoomie-filled runs during the day, and a quiet relaxed cuddle on the couch at night.

He is super clever, having fantastic recall, and knowing commands like ‘sit’ and ‘through’ (walking through our legs), and would thrive with someone willing to keep teaching him more.

Askeladden did fracture his right leg last year, but it has healed beautifully, causing him no issues. He only bares a large scar down the inside of his leg.

He’s not just a fun-loving goofball though; Askeladden is also a total sweetheart at heart who is great with kids, cats, and dogs – basically, he’s the ultimate squad member. Just one thing: Askeladden does suffer slightly from seperation anxiety, so he’s on the hunt for a forever home with a larger doggy friend to keep him company. He would also adore plenty of couch space for cuddle sessions.

He would best suit a family environment with a busy household with lots of new friends, time for cuddles and adventures and one ready to take in all his love and sweetness.
