About Blinky Bill
Hi, my name is Blinky Bill, however I answer to 'Billy.' I am a sweet boy that likes a chat and lots of pats.
I was found as a stray and initially I was terrified and untrusting of humans fortunately things improved when I was placed in a foster home. I remained scared and unable to trust for a very long time, eventually working out that this human was probably ok and maybe I should start to interact. I would observe from a distance, then progressed to getting closer and spending more time around the house rather than hiding under the bed. After eleven months I started to gently brush up against the humans' legs eventually progressing to allowing them to give me a scritch.
I am now very comfortable with my foster human frequently finding them to seek out a pat, I have learnt to accept being picked up (although not for long) and have on occasion found myself lying back on their lap having my tummy rubbed/getting scritches. I come and say 'good morning' when they wake up and will greet them when they arrive home. I will now lie on the living room rug or on the sofa whilst a movie is being watched and sometimes on the bed whilst a book is being read or at night when they are asleep. I tend to spend a major part of the day either under or on the bed.
Recently a new foster cat came into the household and after a few weeks learnt to accept them. Although we have the occasional hiss at each other and are definitely not 'besties' but have learnt to tolerate each other. I do enjoy our morning game of chasey (we are kept separated at night).
I remain scared and wary, don't like loud noises or sudden movements and will hide whenever there are visitors. I still only like to play with objects left around the house being unsure of anything that is held in a hand.
I am looking for a home that is quiet and whose humans have lots of patience to give me the time to learn to trust them and become comfortable in my new environment. Once I am settled you will discover just how affectionate I am.
If you can help me, please chat with my foster human and maybe visit me in my foster home.
Medical Notes
Blinky Bill has presented with a mild case of gingivitis. Dental hygiene may help prevent its development.
I am located with my foster family in Mount Lawley.

Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
