About Delores Umbridge
Are you looking for a "Nanny dog?" The dog that lights up when she sees young children? Well you've found her!!!
Sadly Delores Umbridge has been returned to us as someone was allergic to her in the household. They were devestated as they loved her.
Delores Umbridge "Penny" is a Female Staffy X, who is approx. 18 months old.
Her history is unknown as she was impounded as a stray in rural NSW but she is a lovely girl who adores young children and dogs!
Delores Umbridge has a quiet personality, but being a Staffy loves the rough and tumble, but also loves to be on your lap for cuddles.
She loves a belly rub and her walks, loves to eat. She has been living with another Staffy and they love to have zoomies together, tearing around the house and the back yard. Schmakos are her favourite treat.
Delores Umbridge is crate trained and willingly goes in her crate at bed time and when we go out. She does not toilet in her crate at all, just waits to be let out.
She is toilet trained and uses a doggy door to go in and out.
She knows how to sit but sometimes it is on her terms and if you slightly raise your voice to command her, she submits and rolls on her back for a belly rub. She is learning to sit and wait for her dinner.
There is no agression with food but if food is left she will eat it.
Delores Umbridge is amazing with kids and we would love to see her in a family home with young kids and possibly another dog. My 1 year old granddaughter loves her and squeals with delight when she sees her. Delores Umbridge is very gentle and rolls over for her belly to be rubbed by her too. She doesn't knock the little ones over she is very mindful of them.
She is not tested with cats.
She is great with other dogs, just wants to play all day long.
She is great when left at home alone, though she does cry when she hears you return.
Her ideal home would be with an active family with young kids as she is high energy, she loves to run a round but she does tire after walks and sleep for a long time after. She would love to be included in all the family activities and then cuddle up in your chair with you afterwards. She loves to lie in the sun outside too.
