About Kayla - 3 Month Old Kelpie X
Kayla is a female Kelpie x puppy. She is the perfect mix of placid and playful! After a friendly game of tug-o-war outside, she’ll come inside and have a quiet snooze on the lounge. Kayla is incredibly intelligent and easily trainable – she has already learnt basic commands like ‘sit’ and ‘come’. Kayla loves her food and is well on the way to being toilet trained. She loves a good snuggle in the evening and will be your best friend for life!
Kayla is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Kayla will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training. Kayla is engaged and thrives from learning new things She will be a delight to train further as she matures.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Kayla. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Kayla needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Kayla's adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Kayla is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
