About Sakura - 3 Month Old Border Collie X (Trial)
Sakura is 3 months old, female, puppy. Her mum is a Border collie, and his dad is a Ridgeback cross Mastiff.
Sakura is a loving, calm, smart puppy who enjoys snuggling with her human companion. She shares her home with her foster fur sister and is learning to behave well. Even at six weeks, she quickly learned how to use the dog door when she arrived at her foster home. Sakura has started to learn basic commands and how to walk on a lead. She loves playing outside and discovering new places, always eager to follow her furry sister on her adventures.
Sakura sleeps well in her bed throughout the night. She is currently undergoing house and toilet training and is doing her best to go outside to do her business. Sakura is now ready to go on her new adventure in her forever home with her new family.
Sakura is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.
Sakura will grow up to be a medium/large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Sakura. If you don't have another dog to keep her company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.
Sakura needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be a wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).
Sakura's adoption fee is $700 which includes her desexing when she is old enough. It also includes her first two vaccinations. She has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Sakura is in foster care in Lemon Tree Passage, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when she's 5 to 6 months old.
