About Loot
Allow us to introduce you to Loot, a fabulous girl on the lookout for her forever kingdom. This regal lady is ready to charm her way into your heart and bring a dash of playfulness to your home.
Loot is seeking an indoor-only palace where she can reign supreme. She craves an indoor home, free from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. Her ideal kingdom would be one where she can bask in the undivided attention of her adoring subjects.
Despite being an adult cat, Loot has retained her playful spirit. She's a spirited entertainer who delights in the world of toys. Loot can sometimes get a little overstimulated, so a home with experienced cat enthusiasts or older children who can understand her cues would be ideal.
Loot is not shy about expressing her desire for attention. She thrives when the spotlight is on her, revelling in the affection and companionship of her human companions. If you're looking for a cat who adores being the centre of your world, Loot is the perfect match.
Loot is a solo act – she prefers to be the only star in her royal court. She does not get along with other cats, and we assume a kingdom with dogs might not be to her liking either. She dreams of a home where she can rule as the sole monarch, receiving all the love and pampering she deserves.
If you're ready to welcome Loot into your castle and offer her the throne she deserves, please reach out to us. We believe she deserves a kingdom filled with love, understanding, and playtime fit for a queen.
Medical notes
Due to a nationwide shortage of Feline F3 vaccines, Loot has only received one of these crucial immunisations before adoption and is now overdue for their booster. This vaccine guards against Feline Panleukopenia, Feline Herpesvirus, and Feline Calicivirus.
For details and further information you will be provided with a vaccination waiver. Feel free to discuss with our Adoption Coordinator during the adoption process.
Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and is used to figure out whether animal is the right fit for your household and what you are looking for, and also if your household is the right fit for the animal.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by one of our volunteer adoption coordinators usually by phone call or message. This is an informal conversation to discuss any questions we may have about the application and re-confirm any information provided. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet with you and the animal.
It is a Strong Heart’s adoption policy to arrange a Meet & Greet with the prospective family and the animal before finalising the adoption. The Meet & Greet will allow the opportunity to visit the animal and have a pat and a play with them. The foster carer will tell you a bit about the animal's personality and what they have been like for the time they’ve been in their care. It is a great opportunity to ask the carer about the animals food, sleeping and any other health requirements.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
