About Lexus - Meet me @ PETstock Kilsyth!
Introducing Lexus, a playful and independent bundle of fur! She may be independent by nature but Lexus truly enjoys the company of others. Whether it's human or feline, she's always ready for a play and interaction session.
Lexus has a slightly sassy personality, she loves cuddles but on her own terms. And once she decides cuddle time is over, she's off to explore her surroundings or entertain herself with her favorite toys. Her independent nature means she's just as comfortable keeping herself amused as she is enjoying a play session with her siblings.
Speaking of siblings, Lexus simply adores her furry counterparts. She's known to be quite the diplomat in the cat world, often happily sharing her favorite high places and cozy hiding spots. She's used to cohabitating with other cats and would be delighted to have a feline friend in her new family. Her friendly demeanor could be the perfect balance for a multi-cat household and she is also good with dogs
If you're seeking a cat who balances the love for playfulness with an independent streak, and who gets along well with other cats and dogs (once she comfortable with them), Lexus may be your perfect match. Her loving yet autonomous nature will provide an enjoyable and delightful presence in your life. So if you are the type of person seeking a companion rather than a pet, Lexus would be the perfect addition to your family.
Lexus is looking for a home with a friendly resident cat. Alternatively, Lexus would love to be adopted with one of their siblings; Ford or Tesla
Applications for siblings will be considered favourably.
Lexus is currently at PETstock Kilsyth in their adoption unit. Everyone is invited to head in store to meet Lexus during store operation hours.

Adoption details
Regardless of the breed of animal you are looking to adopt, our adoption process is the same.
The first step of the process involves submitting an adoption application form. The form helps us understand a little bit more about you and your household and is used to figure out whether animal is the right fit for your household and what you are looking for, and also if your household is the right fit for the animal.
After a review process, shortlisted applicants will be contacted by one of our volunteer adoption coordinators usually by phone call or message. This is an informal conversation to discuss any questions we may have about the application and re-confirm any information provided. It is usually at at this point that we will organise a Meet & Greet with you and the animal.
It is a Strong Heart’s adoption policy to arrange a Meet & Greet with the prospective family and the animal before finalising the adoption. The Meet & Greet will allow the opportunity to visit the animal and have a pat and a play with them. The foster carer will tell you a bit about the animal's personality and what they have been like for the time they’ve been in their care. It is a great opportunity to ask the carer about the animals food, sleeping and any other health requirements.
If the Meet & Greet goes well on the day, in most cases you will be able to take the animal home straight away after payment of the adoption fee. All necessary paperwork including vet work history and transfer of ownership information will be sent via email within a few days unless otherwise specified.
