About Von Chomsky
*In foster care in Carlton, Sydney*
Shy at first but a real sweetie at heart, Von Chomsky (Vonny for short) has brought lots of classic ginger energy to his foster home!
He loves to flop in your lap of a morning, but only once you've won him over. (Hint - the process can be sped up with creamy treats and throwing toys for him to chase!) This inquisitive and food-driven boy is slowly learning that he doesn't need to climb his carers' legs to get to his dinner, instead chattering like a bird at their feet while he waits :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Von Chomsky is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... would adopt me and my brother Mercury together (here's his profile: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1017515), but if that's not possible then another kitty companion for me to bond with would be fantastic. Hopefully you'll spend plenty of time playing with me too!
I'm yet to meet any young kids, but after an adjustment period I could probably settle happily into family life.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I love to explore, follow you around the kitchen and bathroom, and chase my toys. I might even be capable of learning to fetch given how food-motivated I am!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm tolerant of being picked up as long as creamy treats are involved - so nice kids with food sounds like a winner to me!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm always chasing, tussling and snoozing with my brother Mercury, so I'd love the opportunity to make a BFF (Best Feline Friend) in my new home!
I haven't met any dogs yet so I'm not sure how that would go.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
