About Mizu & Haru

D.O.B: Mizu 18/12/2021, Haru 21/09/2023

Mizu is quite the character and definitely not for first time owners as she can be quite headstrong, she will let you know if you are the right one for her or not. Mizu has latched onto people she doesn't approve of, however very rarely does this result in the skin being broken and it can take up to 2 months or occasionally longer to win her over if this happens.
If you are accepted by Mizu she is the most loveable and crazy character you might come across, her play can get quite crazy. When playing with someone she likes Mizu has a very naughty habit of either sneaking up or war dancing up behind to give a sharp nip to the back of the knee and then war dancing off like it's the best thing ever.
The partner she has finally accepted is a young boy that was very smelly on arrival and was also starving so spent the first couple of weeks next to her, that way he could eat as much as he needed without interruption.
Once they were put together Mizu spent the first week making sure Haru knew she was boss by randomly screaming in his face, after she was satisfied they were able to settle down together and start fully accepting each other as companions.
They are on a balanced raw mix that is fed in the evening and of a weekend they get bone or whole prey to help aid in dental health, the raw mix contains:
1.25kg chicken carcass mince
250g chicken necks or wing tips or quail necks
250g beef chunks
250g roo chunks
375g heart
63g Tripe
63g Fish
63g Kidney

Adoption details
Meet and greet with any adoptables you are interested in is strongly advised, before making a decision on who will become a part of your family.
There is a adoption form to fill out once a decision is finalized and any adopted out are to come back into care if they no longer have a place with the adopter, this is to ensure they have a familiar place to settle back down.
There is a trial period of 2 months for all in care, during this time if the pet is not settling in well or another problem occours then a new companion can be trialled or adoption fee refunded depending on the health of the pet. Outside of the 2 month trial period advice, help and food (at cost), will still be provided.
Please do not ask for a intact rescue as refusal often offends and it's in the best interest of the companion pet they have this done first, exceptions will only be made for those well known by me.
