About Pixie & Bozo
Vet checked in January 2024
Treated with Revolution 12/04/2024
D.O.B: Pixie March 2022 and Bozo January 2021
Adoption fee: $350
These 2 were kept in a mild hoarding situation and while it wasn't the worst that has been seen, they lived in a open tin shed with full sun for most of the day. Even with all this both of them have been safe around young teenagers and adults alike though Pixie occasionally talks with her teeth, which may spook some people. She is however very gentle about it and they may be ok with a first time owner, one who understands ferret love nibbles.
Bozo will tolerate other ferrets, even though Pixie can get jealous about this and go into a bit of a pout. Pixie is quite the slender girl and only half Bozo's size, but she is definitely the boss in thier relationship. They might be suitable for a confident first time owner and one who is ok with occasional grabs if the ferrets believe play is getting too rough or they need some comfort from the human.
They are on a balanced raw mix that is fed in the evening and of a weekend they get bone or whole prey to help aid in dental health, the raw mix contains:
1.25kg chicken carcass mince
250g chicken necks or wing tips or quail necks
250g beef chunks
250g roo chunks
375g heart
63g Tripe
63g Fish
63g Kidney

Adoption details
Meet and greet with any adoptables you are interested in is strongly advised, before making a decision on who will become a part of your family.
There is a adoption form to fill out once a decision is finalized and any adopted out are to come back into care if they no longer have a place with the adopter, this is to ensure they have a familiar place to settle back down.
There is a trial period of 2 months for all in care, during this time if the pet is not settling in well or another problem occours then a new companion can be trialled or adoption fee refunded depending on the health of the pet. Outside of the 2 month trial period advice, help and food (at cost), will still be provided.
Please do not ask for a intact rescue as refusal often offends and it's in the best interest of the companion pet they have this done first, exceptions will only be made for those well known by me.
