About Angel
Angel is a very sweet soul who is looking for a VERY special home to live her best life.
Angel is a cavoodle with disabilities, in that she suffered poor breeding.
She is very social, loves people and loves to play with calm, well mannered gentle little dogs.
She has some issues with her joint formation and therefore has been in homeopathic and holistic treatment to make her life especially wonderful.
We are primarily looking for a family who are willing, financially able and time committed to her lifestyle. Angel is on a very natural diet (no kibble as this inflames her joints), along with additional vitamins and supplements to keep her strong and agile. We use the knowledge and support of homeopathic and holistic veterinary care and ask that this is continued in her lifespan. We will pass on our contacts to you.
She loves her food so its also very important that she does not get fed table scraps or junk food and she eats from a slow feeder bowl which we can supply with her adoption.
Angel would love to run around in your back yard, go to cafes and social gatherings with you, and enjoy a short slow walk each day. She will happily stay with you in the evening to keep you company and give you lots of snuggles. She sleeps in a crate at night to keep her safe and sound, loves trips in the car and is toilet trained.
She also needs weekly hydrotherapy and massage with a doggy therapist.
We can assist and support you in all of the above with education and connections as we also include a full training package (for the humans) in the adoption price.
Angel would suit a semi retired or retired couple who have time to spend with her and own their own unit or home where she has a back garden to sniff and explore at her leisure.
Since she is a cavoodle she will also need daily brushing and a professional groom every 6-8 weeks with a groomer who is gentle in her handling of dogs with disabilities.
We are hoping to relocate her in the vicinity of the Mornington Peninsula so that we can assist with ongoing support and advice as needed.
Please read ALL of the notes in the advertisement before applying for her and if you feel you might be the right fit, please email us directly at hollie66@bigpond.com
We look forward to hearing from you.
Medical notes
Please read all of the notes in the advertisement re: Angel as she has some disabilities that require additional care and attention with regards to food and exercise and ongoing healthy wellness.

All our domestic pets are:- Vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated or titre tested, wormed and desexed. Horses may not be microchipped. Poultry will not be desexed. Dogs come with training equipment, dog coat (if required), and other extras as necessary.
1. Fall in love with our dogs and Email your interest directly to: hollie66@bigpond.com.
2.Please do not submit your response with one line answers as you will not be shortlisted.
3. It may take us a week to get back to your emails, due to the workload we do. Thank you for your patience.
4. Please ENSURE you have read and re-read ALL of the criteria for this adoption BEFORE you email a request for a questionaire. This will save everyone a bunch of time as there are things we are not willing to negotiate on.
5. You will be contacted for further information and given a questionaire to complete.
6. If you already own a dog, please let us know so we can send you out an additional questionaire.
7. If you are shortlisted you will be contacted for a house and yard safety check, a meet and greet and a final decision will be made. We do NOT organize any meet and greets before this stage. Its simply not viable.
8. A professional training package will then be booked in for a mutually agreeable time frame - this will only apply to dog applications.
9. On the day of your adoption, transfer of ownership and adoption agreement papers are signed, your adoption fee is collected and your new pet stays with you for a negotiated trial period of approximately 1 month and our first training lesson begins.
10. After the trial period, microchip papers are transferred into your name - a copy of which will be sent to you by the microchip company.
Finally, we are only a phone call away for the life of your new pet so rest assured we are always here to assist. We'd love you to stay in touch :)
